[10/20] Had a really fun evening with my friends last night. We went for sushi and watched the Hangover part II.
[9/20] So much for daily, more like not so daily but close to daily. With that said I just want to show you how everybody in my class feels at this very moment. Loose ends in my head, wondering where to begin, just the pressure of homework. Papers to be made, endless number of drawings to be made, redo illustrations… the list is endless. Cheers to the upcoming weekend, hopefully my head cleared up most of the loose ends.
[7/20] my tweetbird now only chirp things about making stuff and this blog. He feels proud. @CreamYummy
[4/20] Waiting too long, relax too much… my pile of homework isn’t getting thinner of all the relaxing I did this weekend. T____T ohh dear.
[3/20] Fuck yeah! Gackt is coming to Holland and this time for a concert. I’m eager to go even though this will be my first concert. Listening to Jrock all day since 6 o’clock this morning. My alter ego is ready to rock!!
[2/20] Today’s my sweet big brother birthday. I made a personal card for him. Before the year 2000 we paid with guldens instead of the euro. 18th century painters and other artist were put on our bills to fancy them some more. I recreated the bill only with my brother as his 10 year old self. I love the 10 gulden because of its colors. I have no underlying story to attach it more clearly but I wanted to give him nostalgia and a bit of history of himself.
A few weeks ago the package finally arrived in the Philippines! I created last month a custom made Munny Vinyl Doll for a very special artist/illustrator May Ann Lucidine. I love her artwork and she is such an energetic en cute person. It took about a month for the package to arrive but I don’t mind! I’m glad it didn’t went missing somewhere. I painted it with acrylic paint, sew the 2 parts from some small fabric. I created it as a tribute to her work, it’s based on her ‘hide and seek’ painting. Visit her blog to see what kind of amazing stuff she creates! (all photo credits go to May Ann)
Saw Pan’s labyrinth, a Spanish movie. Inspiring, creepy, odd, a lot of fantasy but most of all creepy. I went all out with my new pencils without worrying over the outcome. Had a lot of fun making this one and it turned out better than I expected. Learned a lot from it. blending, lighting, texture, using multiple media. Indian inkt, pencils, watercolors, acryl paint used to creat my interpretation of a faun.
Meet my new character which I made for a school assignment. She doesn’t have a name yet but she is close friends with Yummy (white haired girl). I’m still developing her.
quick 5min sketch ^__^ his smile popped up after 4-5 strokes and the feeling was so good I had to finish it.
This Furry Cat with on name (yet) was taken in by my colleague and friend yesterday. I came by to visit him and snapped some photo’s of his new pretty friend. The cat is already 3 years old and lived with a family where there was no room for him anymore. So my friend took him in and gave him a new home <3
